[ Dick has plenty of reasons to be careful, some more pressing than others, and he does sense that Terry's following his lead, which isn't surprising either given a professed lack of experience and just the way things have been working out lately. He's been here to help guide Terry along, to give him outlets while staying close enough to watch out for the pitfalls he'd naturally run into while learning a whole new version of the city he knows back home, and unlike some people he's not so fixated on having control over every little detail that he's stifling.
